Owner Pradeep Pachpatil had a long- Standing dream to own a boutique vineyard one day during his winemaker carrier of 25 years. In 2009, he established Soma Vine Village in the wine capital of India, Nashik, Maharashtra. Dedicated to producing artisan wines that reflect the terroir of our homeland. The company has an impressive pedigree in the Indian wine industry, with sustainable viticulture practices, Selective hand-harvesting, and wine making carried out by one site oenologists and PSP. From the hand-harvesting at harvest, to the careful selection of grapes on our sorting table, to the gentle transportation of the pressed wine from our fermentation tanks to the barrels, to the semi-automatic bottling, our goal is to produce a product that reflects the essence. The typical expression of our terroir can be seen in the relatively very simple, but concentrated and highly structured nature of the wines, which allows them to live for a long time and, after decades in the bottle, gradually open up to a magnificent flowering of full maturity. In the wineries and vineyards, which are open to the public for tours and tastings, visitors can learn about the history of the wines' creation and learn more from the winemakers and sommeliers about the history of the company and the traditions of winemaking and viticulture. Soma Vine Village not only produces varietal wines that meet international standards, but also takes into account the fiery and Indian palate.Soma Vine Village has brought not only a barrel, but a whole new kind of hospitality to India with the concept of India's first barrel house. With wine tasting and warm hospitality all in one package. The Soma brand has made great efforts to popularize its wines. Our wines are supplied to the US and Japan, and we intend to do the same soon for Mauritius, Dubai, Germany, Telangana in India (where Soma wines are already sold), Rajasthan, Gujrat and Daman are on the list.
