Somos En Escrito

Somos en escrito is an online literary magazine that showcases emerging and established U.S. Latino writers in the various fields of literature: fiction (short stories, novellas, excerpts from novels), essays, poetry (all genre), experimental, and book reviews, written in Spanish and/or English. Regular contributors include Felipe de Ortego y Gasca, Lucha Corpi, Armando Arias, and other renowned scholars and creative writers; many of the 500+ writings we have published are by first-time authors. Our broad purpose is to showcase the talent in our communities, to empower Latina/o writers to practice their art and give exposure to their works. SOMOS EN ESCRITO LITERARY FOUNDATION, WHICH PUBLISHES SOMOS EN ESCRITO MAGAZINE, IS A NON-PROFIT, TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATION UNDER INTERNAL REVENUE CODE 501(c)(3).
