Sonae Capital was founded in 2007, surfacing as a spin-off of Sonae. It is currently comprised of a portfolio of various types of core businesses – Hospitality, Tróia Resort, Fitness and Energy; and one non core business – Real Estate Assets. Sonae Capitals’ strategic purpose is to identify new business opportunities in segments with high growth potential, and provide them with resources to enable growth until they become self-sustainable with mechanisms for efficient capital allocation.
