Sophinka Design

Love for graphic design flourished from a fusion between her passion for visual arts and her need to stay organized. Graphic design allows for creativity within bounds; a quote by Mieke Gerritzen holds that ‘Design is where science and art break even’, and to Sophie Hartl truer words cannot be said. Sophie’s body of work is varied, ranging from branding to editorial and beyond. Within most of her work, elements of illustration are commonplace. Often using a soft colour palette, Sophie creates nostalgic and dreamy designs. Growing up, Sophie was always surrounded by art: either in her childhood home, where many different kinds of art lined the walls, or in her ongoing experimentation with and curiosity for a wide array of art forms. This influenced her design style and adds to her motivation to continue searching for artistic inspiration and new creative hobbies. She has also been professionally taking care of dogs for the past four years.
