Sos Community Services

SOS Community Services is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preventing and ending family homelessness in Washtenaw County, Michigan. For 46 years, SOS has been a pioneer in serving community members who are most in need. Our mission is to promote housing stability and family self-sufficiency through collaboration, care and respect. Today the agency serves over people each year and focuses on assisting homeless families with children, which reflects approximately 35% of the homeless population in Washtenaw County. SOS provides family shelter and rapid re-housing programs, employment support, food pantry, children’s programs, and information and referrals for community resources.
