Soul Models

Soul Models is a nonprofit organization serving middle school-aged girls in the Seacoast area of southern Maine and New Hampshire. Our curriculum follows the central themes of self-care incorporating mind, body, spirit, and heart. Girls explore these ideals through hands-on activities that focus on the practice of mindfulness, yoga, creative expression, service, and leadership. By utilizing a balanced approach, participants deepen their understanding of the importance of presence and self-awareness in daily living while developing resiliency and strengthening their own inner compass. Soul Models provides safe spaces for girls to discover their authentic selves and rise above gender expectations that may limit their health, confidence, creativity, and joy. We respect and value the individuality and dignity of all people and welcome children who identify as girls, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming to participate in our programs.
