Sounder & Friends

Sounder & Friends™ is an animated series and educational app specifically designed to help young children (3-6 years old) develop a crucial early literacy skill: phonemic awareness! Phonemic awareness is the ability to play with individual sounds in spoken language and it is the best predictor of success in learning to read. Children who can identify the individual sounds in words, blend sounds together to make words, and delete or swap sounds to form new words are well on their way to learning to read and spell. And success in reading leads to success in school, and success in life! Sounder & Friends™ makes learning engaging and interactive. Your child will have fun playing along with the loveable dog, Sounder, and her friends as they search for sounds and save the day! The episodes and free app will be available in 2021.
