Soundsafe Care

Soundsafe Care is a company that combines to disrupt the conventional ways to perform surgery. This marriage gives raise to a surgical treatment that is precise thanks to robotics and completely non-invasive thanks to focused ultrasound. The use of ultrasound for therapeutic purposes enables an outpatient treatment that does not require any incision. Moreover, ultrasound are intrinsically safe, thus avoiding the use of any ionizing radiation. Robotics adds precision when delivering the localized therapeutic effect. Also, automation speeds up the surgical treatment and it improves the safety throughout the procedure. Soundsafe Care can potentially change the paradigm of tumor treatment for both humans and their beloved pets. Soundsafe Care is a spin-off of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (Pisa), and it origins from a long research pathway (as 4 granted projects, crowned with 3 innovation awards and 16 scientific publications).
