I’m the baker, owner, and one-woman engine behind Sourdough YPR, a microbakery based in Prince Rupert, BC. What started as a kitchen experiment during the pandemic has grown into a thriving local bakery, supplying naturally leavened sourdough breads, pastries, and sweet bakes to Safeway (Prince Rupert), Mission Health & Wellness, Maverick Foods, CanCo Park Avenue, and Bert’s Deli in Terrace. I bake the old-fashioned way — small batch, slow-fermented, and with just three simple ingredients: flour, water, and sea salt. No shortcuts, no additives — just honest bread with flavor and texture worth waiting for. Alongside my country sourdough, I create seasonal loaves, pastries, cookies, and morning rolls, always with sourdough at the heart of what I make.
