Southeast Community Foundation

Southeast Community Foundation envisions a world where every student, regardless of background, has equal access to opportunities that empower them to realize their full potential, excel academically, and create positive change in their communities. Our mission is to provide personalized and consistent high-dose tutoring and social-emotional support that empowers students from all backgrounds to achieve their goals. We are committed to fostering equal opportunities and equipping learners with the skills and confidence to make a positive impact in their lives and their communities. Southeast Community Foundation provides high-dose tutoring services to the students of Los Angeles who need help catching up after the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our 10-week programs include tutoring sessions of up to 4 additional hours a week, are built on research-based methods, and are tailored to each student’s needs. These programs are provided to students at no cost to their families.
