Formed in 2013 out of a successful town centre partnership organisation, Southend City BID is the Business Improvement District (BID) Company for Southend. Following two successful terms (2013-2018 and 2018-2023), businesses within the new zone voted with a firm yes for Southend City BID to run for a third term. Operating from April 2023 – March 2028, the third term will continue to bring businesses together to ensure that Southend makes the most of the new city status.
