Southern Capital Project

Southern Capital Project is a nonprofit intitiative on a mission to ensure women in the South have equitable opportunities to build wealth. As the first local organization of its kind, Southern Capital Project focuses on: • Capital and investment powered by women, led by women, and for women • Innovative capital that maintains the best interest of women and their communities • Intentional design to reach and prioritize those experiencing the intersectionality of race and gender inequities, women of color • Geographic focus in the US South that promotes local economic development We believe in the power of women to build wealth for themselves, their families, and their communities. We envision an economy rooted in equity and opportunity, where women have access to the resources they need to fully participate, to lead, and to thrive.
