Our state-of-the-art facility houses both the company’s Security Systems Division and Microwave Products Division. Security Systems Division (SSD): With over 40 years of experience and installations worldwide, Southwest Microwave’s Security Systems Division has earned a global leadership position in the design and manufacture of integrated, high-security outdoor electronic perimeter security systems. Our field-proven products provide precise detection of perimeter disturbances for many of the world’s highest security sites across wide-ranging vertical markets – to reliably protect against threat to critical infrastructure, high-value assets or personnel. Solutions include fence and buried cable detection systems, fixed and relocatable microwave sensors, infrared detection sensors and perimeter security management systems. Microwave Products Division (MPD): Since 1987 (and earlier as the Connectors Group of Omni Spectra®), MPD has delivered performance-leading interconnect solutions for microwave and millimeter wave applications, operating to DC to 110 GHz and delivering the industry’s lowest RF leakage, insertion loss and VSWR. Products include SuperSMA, N, TNC, SSMA, 2.92mm, 2.40mm, 1.85mm, 1.0mm and 0.9mm SuperMini connectors in a variety of mounting configurations, plus board-mount end-launch and vertical launch connectors, cable connectors, coax contacts for multi-pin connectors, adapters, launch accessories for microstrip, stripline and coplanar launches and installation tools.
