Space Acquisition & Integration Office Saio

The Space Acquisition and Integration Office (SAIO) is a sophisticated, integrated services acquisition organization that provides program, contract, and quality management support to USSF Combat Forces Command (USSF CFC), Mission Deltas, Space Base Deltas, and two Combatant Commands: United States Space Command, and North American Aerospace Defense Command / Northern Command. SAIO’s mission is to deliver responsive, mission-focused acquisition solutions to optimize warfighter operations. Aligned as a direct reporting unit to the USSF CFC Commander, the organization is responsible for the cradle-to-grave management of a complex $12B portfolio, consisting of critical contracted capability related to mission equipment services, operations maintenance, and repair of radar and satellite systems, IT services, knowledge-based services, and some research and development and sustainment, executed by highly qualified and credentialed acquisition professionals. Acquisition agility and speed, and successful contractor performance assurance are at the forefront of SAIO’s contribution to meeting the Chief of Space Operation’s objective of securing our ability to contest and dominate the domain during conflicts, thereby assuring space control and superiority.
