Spare a Life Apparel is a clothing brand that focuses on raising awareness of the plight of the Earth’s most beloved endangered species. The company was founded by Sofia Henriquez, a graphic designer and entrepreneur who strives to bring social and environmental consciousness through fashion. We’re focused on more than just protecting endangered species from extinction. We want to protect this beautiful, vulnerable and utterly irreplaceable planet we call home. Every little animal within the ecosystem has a vital role in the well-being of Earth. If one species is rendered extinct due to some imbalance, it can have significant cascading effects on others. With an emphasis on wildlife protection and environmental sustainability, Spare A Life not only gives back to organizations whose mission is to sustain these precious global creatures, but we also pursue social equality by looking to only work with socially and environmentally responsible factories that are WRAP approved, agree to yearly-unannounced audits, and abide by our code of ethics. The factories we hope to work with will need to commit to fair hours of work, absolutely no child labor, fair compensation based on local laws, a safe and healthy workplace, and adherence to environmentally conscious practices. We believe we can inspire a new generation of consumers who are passionate about the environment to adopt a socially and environmentally lifestyle and tackle the issues we are now faced with head on, positively impacting our future.
