Spark - Living Lab

Spark- Living Lab aims to explore the application of data sharing technologies (e.g. blockchain, IoT) in supply chain and logistics to support and advance the circular economy. The project develops four physical hubs and a virtual repository for blockchain knowledge to support SME’s in developing use-cases and experiment with blockchain applications in supply chain and logistics. The ambition of the experienced consortium is to build a community of interested stakeholders and to connect current and future related blockchain initiatives to the living lab. As a company, do you know… …the exact delivery times for your ordered goods? …the full provenance of the materials you are using? …how to maximize the utilisation of your trucks? …how to reduce errors in purchase to pay and order to cash processes? …the real-time location and condition of your goods in transit? …how to lower costs and speed up invoicing by using digital waybills? To achieve the sustainability goals and realise a fully circular economy, supply chains need to collaborate effectively to increase capacity utilisation of transport means and synchro modal planning to optimise modality choice. A prerequisite is data sharing amongst stakeholders in the supply chain collaborating in open, organisational networks.
