Spe Ireland Section

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Ireland Section is a not-for-profit professional organization. SPE International is the largest individual-member organization serving managers, engineers, scientists and other professionals worldwide in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry. Our Mission is to collect, disseminate, and exchange technical knowledge concerning the exploration, development and production of oil and gas resources, and related technologies for the benefit of the Irish public; and to provide opportunities for Irish-based E&P professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence. Our Vision is to enable the global and domestic oil and gas E&P industry to share technical knowledge needed to meet the world’s energy needs in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. SPE Ireland's Strategic Priorities include Capability development; Knowledge transfer; Promoting professionalism and social responsibility; Public education about petroleum engineering profession and industry issues.
