Special Interest Group Human Resources

Special Interest Group - Human Resources is one of the functional groups of FORE School of Management. SIG-HR started as an initiative to promote and boost HR activities within the institute, but over the years we have seen human resource as a profession evolving by leaps and bounds. Originally conceived to handle personnel hiring and payment, it now aligns more closely with the company's strategic plans. SIG-HR majorly functions to share these new inventions in the world of Human Resources with the batch and remove the traditional myths that are connected to the subject area through its constant blog posts. It also facilitates the functioning of the Centre of Excellence for HR. To enhance the knowledge of the batch in this domain, SIG-HR conducts various events which help the participants evolve on their learning curve with fun. We conduct an inter-college event called 'Vyamaham' that tests participants on their people management skills. One of the other events is 'Tippani' that brings out the contestant's creativity in problem-solving. Apart from events, SIG-HR also organizes seminars by inviting corporates to bridge the gap between corporate and college. Join us on Facebook
