Special Ops Survivors

MISSION The mission of Special Ops Survivors is to embrace and empower surviving families of Special Operations personnel to build a future that their fallen heroes would have wanted for them. DESCRIPTION Special Ops Survivors focuses on serving the unmet needs of surviving spouses by complementing the assistance provided by other organizations. We are the only organization exclusively dedicated to serving surviving spouses of active duty Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Special Operations personnel who have died in combat or training since September 11, 2001. OVERVIEW Special Ops Survivors helps ease the shock of losing a spouse by providing assistance to newly widowed spouses through peer support from other surviving spouses who have already gone through, survived and overcome similar tragedies. We also provide financial assistance for long-term educational and career goals, emergency financial aid, and individual emotional support. GENERAL INFORMATION Special Ops Survivors (formerly United Warrior Survivor Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation with federal tax identification number 81-0567790. Donations are eligible for tax deductions.
