Following years of investigation into gastrulation and differentiation events as they occur in the embryo, SPECIALIZED STEM CELLS, LLC (“SSC”) has successfully applied this knowledge to develop perhaps the most robust human stem cell-based differentiation schemes in the industry which enable the production of a limitless supply of mesoderm-derived cell types including beating cardiomyocytes, endothelium and derivatives such as capillary-forming endothelial and smooth muscle cells.
