Spectra Group

Spectra Group (UK) Ltd is a British communications engineering company delivering mission-critical tactical communications systems for defence and security organisations worldwide. Founded in 2002 and based in Herefordshire, Spectra combines sovereign engineering expertise with operational experience to design, engineer and manufacture systems that perform in demanding environments. Our work is shaped by direct user insight and a deep understanding of the realities faced by deployed forces. Our focus is simple: deliver assured, resilient connectivity where it is most needed. We specialise in beyond-line-of-sight communications, including troposcatter and satellite-enabled systems, alongside GENSS—our Evergreen software-defined tactical communications system. GENSS is designed to evolve as operational requirements change, providing adaptable voice and data connectivity for distributed forces through a scalable, modular SDR architecture. Our systems are built to integrate, adapt and endure: supporting forces operating across land, maritime and multi-domain environments.
