Spectrumlab was born from the ambition and willingness to find a solution both for the increasing average temperatures of the cities, known as urban heat islands, and the accelerated global warming caused by buildings. For this purpose, Spectrumlab is developing the ideal building finishing which is 100% reflective in summer and 100% absorbent in winter. Spectrumlab's patent pending solution minimizes the cooling consumption in summer and the heating penalties in winter and maximises building’s energy efficiency in all seasons. Spectrumlab imagines energy and climate resilient smart cities that are capable of responding autonomously to external conditions in order to minimize their energy consumption and fight against climate change.
