Spero Counseling is the professional counseling service owned and operated by Matt Dean, LMFT, and is located in Nashville, TN. The heart of Spero Counseling is found in the Latin phrase “Dum Spiro, Spero” translated as “While I breathe, I hope.” No one gets through life without wounding or trauma. Without help, healing from wounding and trauma may seem impossible. Therefore, at Spero, we strive to remind every client that as long as there is breath in your lungs, there is hope. The hope for all clients is that they engage their unique stories of gifting and wounding so they may heal and live out of the truth of their Imago Dei (Image of God).
