It operates via two key divisions: • SPEX Engineering provides engineering design and analysis, rapid prototyping and testing for new technologies. • SPEX Offshore provides a range of innovative products and bespoke solutions to the industry in areas including pipe cutting and recovery and wellhead abandonment using explosives engineering. Clients range from super-majors (e.g. BP, Shell and Total) to large service companies (e.g. Schlumberger, Baker) and SPEX is active in regions including the UKCS, Middle and Far East, and Gulf of Mexico.
