Spgs International

SPGS International was set up in 2019 to offer an exceptional, liberal education to children in China and around the world. Our mission is to establish schools that prepare students for their adult life by providing holistic learning programmes that challenge and excite; by recognising individual strengths and talents; and by developing independence, curiosity and innovative thinking. SPGS International works with school operators and developers to establish schools modelled on St Paul’s Girls’ School’s ethos and values. SPGS International advises on the set-up of each school including leadership and teacher recruitment, curriculum planning, policy development, and student assessment. Once a school has opened, SPGS International provides oversight of standards and supports ongoing professional development for staff. SPGS International schools operate in close collaboration with St Paul’s Girls’ School in London and opportunities for shared learning between students and teachers at our schools are a core element of our culture. The first SPGS International school opened in Chengdu, China in September 2021.
