The story of SPHAERA begins with a passion for Peru. SPHAERA is a business, but fundamentally, it is a concept, because each of its products transmits Peruvian culture and identity. Ancient Pre-Hispanic artistic designs are the source of our inspiration along with the vivid desire that each SPHAERA product should transmit the essence of the Peruvian soul. As such we have developed our collections recreating the iconography produced in the textiles, ceramics and the metalwork over a span of more than 10 years, across the Andean territory. Continuing in Peru’s great traditions of craftwork, our products are innovative and useful in the modern world. This idea is reflected in the work of master craftsmen who transform the locally sourced raw materials into works of art, with both design elements, and finishing processes of an extremely high quality. Leather, copper, enamel, Baby Royal Alpaca fibre, Peruvian Pima cotton, organic Pima cotton are converted into elegant objects, both exquisitely functional and decorative.
