Spinnaker Chandlery

Spinnaker Chandlery is a small family owned business selling chandlery, hardware and outdoor clothing shop based based in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight. From our foundation we have set out to provide not only a store when sailors both local and visiting can obtains supplies for their boats, but also a shop which offers a wider range and service to the local area and community. Founded in 1985 Spinnaker Chandlery (originally Spinnaker Yacht Chandlery) started offering chandlery and boating supplies to both local and visiting harbour users. Quickly growing, both in stock and business, we expanding our product offerings to general outdoor clothing and footwear. By the late 90's the original premises was too small so work started on a 2 storey extension which was opened in Increasing the retail space by nearly 150% and providing a dedicated workshop and stock room. This lead to us diversifying into more non-yachting items. We now stock an extensive range of hardware and ironmongery, electrical and plumbing sundries, camping gear, tools, paint and much more. With product lines we are often referred to as the “Everything Shop” as we usually have what someone needs. We are dedicated to building a reputation for offering high quality goods for competitive prices with a team of helpful and knowledgeable staff. If a customer comes in with a vague description of what they want, we want to be able to offer 4 different options to solve their problem!
