Builder-led. Architect-run. Design protected. SpireBuilt is a construction company led by a licensed architect, focused on building well-designed residential projects without compromise. After 30 years working across design and construction, I’ve shifted my role intentionally: from architect who happens to build to builder who protects architecture. The goal is simple — deliver strong design in the field, not dilute it. We partner closely with architects to- Maintain design authorship and involvement throughout construction - Execute complex details with care, dialogue, and rigor - Avoid contractor-driven redesign or substitutions - Deliver open-book, cost-plus projects with real transparency Our work is typically high-end residential construction in the $1M–$3M range (selectively higher), primarily in Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and Tahoe.
