Faisal and his team invest in and manage investments in property related businesses, real estate joint ventures, specialist GP/LP platforms, and property related start-ups. Faisal also invests personally in PropTech start-ups alongside Pi Labs, a platform he founded in 2014, which is now Europe's leading PropTech focused venture capital firm. Through Spire, Faisal and his co-investors invest start-up capital, working capital, growth capital, buyout capital, and can be flexible, depending on the situation. Set up in 2010 by entrepreneur Faisal Butt, Spire has established itself as a focused investment house with a depth of expertise and networks in the property sector. Spire's portfolio consists of businesses from multiple sectors, including property services, real estate investment management, interior design, construction services, mortgage advisory, estate agency, PropTech, and more.
