Splash Nepal

Splash Nepal (Prabhav Nepal), is a non government organization working in the WASH Sector since 2012 A.D. As an organization we believe, accessibility of clean safe drinking water, better hygiene awareness program and, child and girls friendly sanitation facilities is the right of the children and every schools should have that right. Till date, Splash Nepal (Prabhav Nepal) have partnered with 262 schools all over Nepal with 255 schools located within Kathmandu Valley. Kanti Children's Hospital and Patan Hospital also have accessibility of clean safe drinking water in partnership with Splash Nepal. Splash Nepal's Partnership Model solely focuses on developing the Partners to own the WASH Infrastructure built in and sustain it for the longer period of time. Thus we believe it is a longer partnership rather than a one time thing. We install need based highest quality of Filter System in the school. Attached with the Filter is the Drinking Stations made up of Fiber which ensures the appropriate and equitable accessibility for the students. We recommend the use of Bubbler Faucets (Upward Pressure Pressmatic Taps) to avoid the possibility of contamination at the point of Usage. We conduct Health and Hygiene Workshops at the Schools which are fun-filled and creates a better learning environment within the school. Child Clubs are formed, teachers are trained to make the program sustainable and better."One Soap One Child One Year" is our tagline in which we call for the soap from among the students which generates the ownership of the soap. We make sure that with minor changes in the engineering the existing sanitation facilities structure can be made better for the children and the girls to use the facilities. Proper Ventilation, Lighting, information signage in the toilet, door locks, appropriate drainage, tiling, dippers, door repairs are some of the improvements we do in the School to promote the child and Girl Friendly Sanitation Facilities.
