Splinters Workshop

Splinters is a self-funded, fully equipped woodwork and steel workshop. Splinters provides a full suite of industrial woodworking machines, power and hand tools, jigs, clamps work benches and work space that match any professional woodwork facility. Built with C.S.I. and in the spirit of doing good we host young interns who receive training to become proficient in fundamental woodworking. We also assist them by providing education and mentorship on a range of essential entrepreneurial, life and business skills so that they have a better chance of being able to gain meaningful employment or even better, self-employed on conclusion of the 12 month program. In order to help subsidize the associated costs, Splinters Workshop provides access to affordable workshop space and facilities for people to come in and use industrial tools and equipment to build their own projects as well as to gain access to DIY training help and advice.
