Splitcab

SplitCab is a unique first to market app that makes the most of sharing: saving money, reducing the carbon footprint and creating a community for all those on the same journey. Splitcab was born out of the founding team’s experiences in delivering shared services to London's tourists over the past 9 years via the CityTransfersUK brand. The team felt that it was high time that these services were also offered to London’s commuters and so we set about creating the Splitcab iOS and Android apps. Our aims are to reduce consumers travel costs, tackle the number of cars on London's roads, encourage collaboration between the London Minicab companies and delicately and appropriately work out what social aspects there may be to shared travel.
