Spoiled Threads is an alternative collegiate apparel brand. We combine the pride of representing your university, with contemporary fashion trends to create apparel that elevates your school pride and wardrobe. With a distinct focus on university subculture we provide apparel that breaks the generic bookstore mold and serves as a platform for the raw voice of the outcasts, the misfits, and those who want to express their university pride in groundbreaking ways. Spoiled Threads was formed out of the personal struggle our founder faced when he transferred to the University of Southern California. Being treated as an outcast all of his life due to his unique look and alternative style he didn’t fit the carbon copy style of what the university bookstore offered. He felt deprived from expressing his joy to be at the university he had worked so hard to get to because he looked god awful in red and gold and didn’t feel comfortable in apparel that looked like it was designed decades ago. The culmination of being socially isolated and ostracized was what led him to perform further research on the collegiate apparel market and understand that this problem wasn’t an isolated instance but a rampant issue that many others face when they come to a new college where the university bookstore is the sole provider of branded apparel, and its styles are outdated and unable to embody modern fashion trends.
