Sporting Her

Sporting Her is a volunteer-led sports media platform built to celebrate and champion women’s sport. We first launched in 2022 with a simple but powerful goal: to shine a light on the athletes, teams, and stories that often go unseen. As women’s sport continues to grow - on the pitch, on screens, and in the hearts of fans - we’re proud to be part of that movement, helping to bring more visibility, more voices, and more coverage to the game. After a short break, we relaunched in 2025 with a renewed energy, stronger team, and even bigger plans to showcase women’s sport across all levels - from grassroots to elite. Since the beginning, we’ve supported over 30 volunteers globally in areas like photography, journalism, content creation, and social media, providing hands-on experience and a platform to grow. Many of our team have covered major tournaments and leagues, including the WSL, NWSL, UEFA Women’s EUROs, AFC Asian Cup, UWCL, Rugby World Cup, and more.
