SportsWave is a web 2.0 re-incarnation of your neighborhood playground. It was founded by a bunch of sports crazed IIT Bombay graduates, who felt it was necessary to re-introduce sports in the life of the working professional to help them unwind from the daily grind. And also to relive the joy of playing sports. It achieves its objective of getting people back to the playground by addressing the two major bottlenecks that prevent people from pursuing sports - lack of grounds/courts & lack of team mates. Here's how it is done: 1. Building a network of sports enthusiasts 2. Engaging sports enthusiasts in on field sports activities Regular weekend leagues and matches are organized by SportsWave at local venues for the members, at nominal charges. SportsWave also organizes intra-company and inter-company tournaments across multiple sports. After being backed by the experience of having organized 200+ corporate tournaments & events in our five year history and association with 400+ companies in Delhi NCR we are coming with something bigger. With the Rio Olympics just round the corner, we believe it is a great opportunity to spread the famed Olympic spirit & camaraderie. With this aim in mind, we are excited to launch Corpolympics an Olympic themed sports fest for corporates. This will be the biggest corporate sports meet in Gurgaon with over 1,500 participants across companies.
