Spride was founded by Sunil Paul and Nitesh Mehta to replace private automobiles with transportation services delivered through information technology, especially the cell phone. We think your next car should be a cell phone. Spride Share is our flagship product that allows people to share their cars to make money, help their friends and family, and save the earth. We are partnering with City Carshare, the pioneer in North American carsharing, to field the service in the Bay Area of California. We expect to expand to the rest of California, and then the US.
