Edson Miller is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, member of the Garrett Planning Network and founder of Spring Financial Planning, LLC: an hourly-based, fee-only, comprehensive personal financial planning firm located in Los Angeles. Edson does not sell any financial products such as life insurance or annuities or manage investment assets for a percentage fee. All services, including specific investment advice, are offered on an hourly basis. Since no products are sold, no commissions are involved. No long-term contracts, monthly/annual fees or investment account minimums are required to work with Edson. Before entering the field of financial planning in 2011, Edson engineered and mixed numerous hit recordings for artists such as Prince, Madonna, and Willie Nelson. His interest in financial planning began decades ago when he visited an hourly financial planner to help get him on the right path financially. Edson often credits his longevity in the music business in large part to having a financial plan to deal with the ups and downs of an uneven income stream. His passion for financial planning motivated him to transition full-time into the business so that he could help others with their financial planning needs. Edson earned his Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from UCLA, a BM in Music with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
