I am a writer. I am an editor. I am a translator. I am a tutor, and I am a mentor. I have been a student and a teacher. My knowledge and experience can work for you. During my career in educational publishing, I have written and edited supplemental and intervention programs in English, Reading, Language Arts, and ELL/ESL. I have developed numerous educational materials for various grade levels, including Interactive Whiteboards, and have managed projects with teams of authors and writers, contractors and editors. Programs I developed include: Critical Reading: Differentiated Instruction Across Genres Elements of Reading: Fluency Elements of Reading: Phonics & Phonemic Awareness Oxford Picture Dictionary for Content Areas While a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin, I taught Spanish as an Assistant Instructor. I have been a tutor at various academic institutions and remain connected to students and their needs by tutoring in reading and writing at various levels and mentoring at-risk high school students.
