Growers, eaters, creatives, and economic developers together established Sprout in 2012. With a mission to connect and strengthen the local food system as a regional asset, this community continues to grow and contribute to our collective story of a vibrant and resilient Central Minnesota. Our venue is a revitalized boat manufacturing facility with a farm-chic vibe that is easily transformed into the perfect space for a wide variety of events. Local artists have beautified the industrial space with a mix of art installations including iron chandeliers, colorful weavings, and more. Sprout supports the local food system through three main avenues: 1) Growers & Makers Marketplace, 2) Food Hub, and 3) Shared Use Commercial Kitchen.
