Squabisch is a Berkeley-based Pretzel Company started in 2015 by Uli Elser. Uli was born in Sindelfingen, Germany and moved to California as a baby where he was "raised Schwaebisch"- the region in Germany known for Pretzels, Spaetzle, Maultaschen, Rindsrouladen and other regional dishes. In addition to selling traditional Pretzels, Squabisch has over 70 varieties of pretzels (but only offers 5-6 varieties at each event) such as : Asiago; Kalamata Olive & Meyer Lemon; Black Forest Ham Bacon & Swiss & Gruyere Cheese; Gorgonzola & Grilled Red Onions; Jalapeno & Cheddar Cheese; Dark Chocolate with Bitter Orange; etc "Schwaebisch Food with a California Twist".
