Falling in love with Italy in 2001 made me realise how our food culture has declined and taken over by mass produced supermarket food. The vibrant food markets and passion for food in Italy are the model for Squisito. I have been producing seasonal, local Italian food for a few years now and reviving a passion for food in the UK that has been dormant since the Second World War. My food is wide ranging and ever changing with the seasons but always Italian. I am a proud recipient several times of a Slow Food Bursary enabling me to exhibit at the BBC Good Food Show. I am working on securing a new HQ for Squisito with Cookery School, Cafe, Shop and Production areas showcasing food in the Midlands. So watch this space!
