Srcc Global Millennium Summit

SRCC Global Millennium Summit 2017 was India's first International student-run summit. Organised by the students of Shri Ram College Of Commerce, the Summit was conducted at the hub of business and innovation, Dubai. With the mission to provide a platform for future leaders of this millennium to engage with each other, ’The Global Millennium Summit’ envisaged to commemorate ideas and celebrate greater diversity. The theme of the summit was ‘Future of this Millennium’ and it entailed panel discussions, speaker sessions, a workshop by KPMG on Six Sigma and competitions (Business Analytics Case Study, Business Pitch and Business Simulation). The Summit received applications from 90+ countries and hosted a selected group of 200 ambitious and extremely talented students from diverse backgrounds. Various types of merit and need based scholarships were also extended to the students. Some of the keynote speakers who graced the event were- His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan (Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, UAE), Shri Vijay Goel (Hon'ble Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, India), His Excellency Navdeep Singh Suri (Ambassador of India to UAE), Smt. Sumathi Vasudev Consul (Press,Information, Education,Consular, Community Affairs & Welfare), Mr. Sanjay Kumar (India Country Director, Harvard University SAI), Mr. Keshav Bansal (Youngest Owner of any IPL Team- Gujurat Lions and Director, Intex Technologies), Mr. Ashish J. Thakkar (Founder of Mara Group and Mara Foundation and Chair of the United Nations Foundation GEC) among others. The competitions were organised in collaboration with Consult Club- IIM Ahmedabad, Business Club- IIT Kharagpur, Government of India initiative- Startup India, Kalaari Capital's early stage initiative- Kstart, Cocoon Ventures and ZS Associates.
