This firm was originally organized in Richmond, Virginia on July 1, 1950 under the name of Emmett L. Simmons to practice Consulting Engineering. The firm incorporated in 1972 under the name Emmett L. Simmons Associates, Inc. In 1979, the firm changed its name to Simmons, Rockecharlie and Prince, Inc, and moved to its current location at 8416 Glazebrook Avenue, Henrico, Virginia. Since its organization, the firm has been engaged in providing mechanical and electrical engineering services for over projects ranging in construction costs up to These projects have included Churches, Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Institutional buildings, Dormitories, Barracks, Housing projects, Apartments, Sewage and water treatment plants, Hospital and Nursing homes, Shopping centers and Schools.
