SS Dance & Wellbeing is a community organisation aiming to highlight the importance of health and wellbeing in Yorkshire communities; creating a platform to challenge our societies growing mental health issues through the implementation of dance movement. SS Dance & Wellbeings objective is to help minimise issues such as in-activity, isolation and mental health through a fusion of dance movement and fitness activities that are accessible to a wide range of people, communities and organisations. SS Dance & Wellbeing focuses on inspiring peoples wellbeing through these key areas providing- Accessible Dance Sessions in Mental Health Hubs - Low Impact Dance and Exercise for Older People - Healthy Minds In The Workplace Initiative - Community Dance with Isolated BAME Groups - Improving In-activity in Local Communities - Young Peoples Health Fitness SS Dance & Wellbeing deliver a range of dance, fitness and movement sessions with a focus on aiding physical activity and promoting social interaction, whilst using dance to promote good mental health and well-being. Services on offer to partner organisations- Mental Health Wellbeing Scheme - Over 50s Health Initiative - Workplace Healthy Minds Initiative - Active Communities & Education Dance Activities- Chair-Based: Chair Zumba, Chair Dancercise and Low Impact Chair Dance. DanceFIT (Over 50s Fitness)- Fitness Fusion - Dancercise - Youth Dance Fitness and Baton Twirling - Pre-school Dance - under 5 activities - Dance Fitness After-school Clubs Services and activities can be tailored to meet your individual/organisations needs.
