The journey of Super Star Group (SSG) began with a simple vision — to make world-class electrical products available to the people of Bangladesh at an affordable price. This vision aimed not only to make the products accessible to everyone but also to establish the company as a leader in its category of business. After more than two decades, SSG has become the No. 1 choice among people as a trusted provider of electrical solutions. In 1994, the company started its journey by establishing its first venture — an incandescent lamp plant located in Narayanganj. Later, the company expanded its business into various categories, including electrical accessories, CFLs, LED lighting, fans, cables, solar products, real estate holdings, lifts, and more. Recently, the group achieved the prestigious Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial Award 2020, introduced for the first time in Bangladesh. The award was presented by the Ministry of Industries in recognition of SSG’s outstanding contribution to the industrial development of the country.
