Born in 1940, Chop Sin Soon Huat survived the tumultuous years of Singapore’s founding and, hand in hand with our country’s own growth, expanded to become one of the region’s largest industrial material suppliers. Our exponential growth culminated in the successful listing on the SESDAQ of the Singapore Stock Exchange in 1995 as Sin Soon Huat Ltd. We were honoured to be a key contributor to the building of the Shell Eastern Petrochemicals Complex in Singapore in 2006. This facility laid the foundation to Singapore’s entrenchment as South East Asia’s Oil & Gas hub. In 2010, SSH joined the AT & S Group of Companies. This was followed by being awarded the HSBC Singapore’s Leading International Business Award in the following year. With over 70 years of experience and know-how, and 1 million tons of steel supplied (and counting) worldwide, SSH remains the region’s premier choice in the supply of high-grade materials and finished products.
