Staley Credit Union

Staley Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned by the members and operated solely for their benefit. Currently, membership at SCU is open to individuals who live or work in the Illinois counties of Macon, Moultrie, Piatt, DeWitt and Shelby, and the Indiana counties of Tippecanoe, Carroll, Clinton, Montgomery and White. SCU also serves employees and their families of qualifying Select Employee Groups (SEGs) nationwide. Staley Credit Union was founded in 1930 to offer employees of A.E. Staley Manufacturing Company a cooperative environment in which members could save money and receive low-cost loans. SCU embraced the Credit Union philosophy of "People Helping People" in 1930 and it is the same philosophy working today for the benefit of the membership. As of April 1, 2025 Staley Credit Union serves over members with $214 Million in Assets. Staley Credit Union is located in Decatur, Illinois and surrounding areas, Lafayette, Indiana and surrounding areas and Loudon, Tennessee.
