Stand For Youth

Stand for Youth is a local initiative based in Lebanon, that emerged from a deep-rooted understanding of the persistent issues facing Lebanon’s youth, start-ups, and MSMEs, as identified through extensive research conducted by various NGOs and INGOs operating in Lebanon. Our initiation was powered by the recognition of three critical challenges: the sustainability of projects, the lack of innovation, and the necessity for impactful interventions targeting youth. Sustainability: Too often, projects operate within fixed timeframes, lacking the necessary mechanisms to sustain their impact beyond their initial duration. This leads to a discontinuation of services, mainly due to financial constraints and inadequate follow-up from funding organizations. Stand for Youth seeks to address this issue by fostering collaborations that transcend temporal boundaries, ensuring that initiatives remain viable and impactful in the long term. Impact: While many organizations prioritize achieving end goals, the true measure of success lies in the lasting impact created for participants and communities. We recognize the importance of going beyond mere funding acquisition and focus on facilitating genuine, sustainable change. By aligning our efforts with the needs and aspirations of the youth, we aim to maximize the positive outcomes of our interventions. Innovation: Project design often fails to understand the full potential of innovation, resulting in missed opportunities for sustainable solutions. Stand for Youth advocates for an innovative shift, where projects are not only aligned with donor requirements but also embrace innovative approaches to enhance sustainability and impact. By fostering a culture of innovation, we empower youth to drive positive change and adapt to evolving socio-economic landscapes.
