Standard And Deviant

Standard & Deviant is a different kind of statistical consultancy. We do all the standard things you would expect - helping you formulate questions, design your data collection, analyse your results and report them in plain English. But we also do more interesting, more deviant things - we help you work out whether you need a statistical solution at all. We are not interested in doing statistics for statistics sake - numbers are not a mystical thing which generate 'truth' or 'evidence'. We will crunch numbers for money, if the money is right, but we're happier helping you work out what your problem is and what will actually help you move forward. If that's numbers, great, we'll help you generate and understand the numbers. But if it's something else - qualitative data, systems change, a change in perspective - we'll do that instead.
