Standard Electronics is a privately owned, independent distributor, installer and service maintenance company for fire alarm, security, low voltage electrical, data systems and communications equipment. The company has been in business since 1976 and services government, schools, commercial and industrial markets. Over the years, Standard has been recognized for assisting its clients to conform to the Americans with Disabilities Act and SDA requirements as well as providing updated installations and upgrading or adapting existing facilities. Standard Electronics maintains a 24-hour per day service team as well as highly educated product salesmen. We staff our own design and drafting department and all of our technicians are certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering (NICET). The company is a member of the California Automatic Fire Alarm Association (CAFFA), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Standard Electronics is a licensed, insured and bonded company. We are also a “UL” certified installer.
